FAQ

The questions DSPs ask first.

How does DriverTrack get applications from Indeed / Totaljobs / CV-Library?+

Three ways. Most DSPs set up email forwarding — when Indeed sends an application to your inbox, you forward it to your DriverTrack address and we parse it automatically. We also accept CSV imports for bulk applicant exports, and provide a webhook for direct API integrations with Indeed Apply or CV-Library when you're on their partner programme.

Does the DVLA check actually pull from DVLA?+

Yes — using the GOV.UK share-code service the candidate generates themselves at gov.uk/view-driving-licence. You enter the 8-character code and surname; we return licence categories, points, endorsements, and disqualifications. No need for a paid background-check provider until you've already passed this filter.

What about the Amazon onboarding handoff?+

Once you mark a candidate as Onboarding, Amazon's system takes over. DriverTrack stores their compliance record (DVLA, Right-to-Work evidence, audit log) so you can satisfy due-diligence requests later, but the formal Amazon onboarding flow happens in their portal.

Is it GDPR compliant?+

Yes. Built UK GDPR-first: lawful basis stored per candidate, retention defaults to 6 months from last activity, self-service DSAR deletion link, audit log on every state change, AES-256-GCM encryption at rest, multi-tenant isolation in the database. We're applying for Cyber Essentials.
