Who handles your data

DriverTrack is recruitment software used by UK Amazon Delivery Service Partners (DSPs). When you apply, the DSP you applied to is the data controller — they decide how your information is used to consider you for the role. DriverTrack processes the data on their behalf as a processor.

What we collect

The details you give on the application form — your name, phone number, email and postcode — and the notes and outcomes the DSP records while considering your application (for example interview times and the result of a licence check you run yourself on GOV.UK).

If you upload documents when we ask for them (for example a photo of your licence or right-to-work paperwork), we store those files. Photos taken on a phone can carry embedded metadata such as the date and the GPS location where the photo was taken; we do not remove this, so avoid photographing documents somewhere you would not want recorded.

Why we use it

To contact you about the role, arrange an interview, and progress your application — the lawful basis is the DSP's legitimate interest in recruiting drivers. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Your application is kept for up to 6 months from when you applied, then deleted. If you are hired, the DSP keeps your record as an employment record while you are driving for them, and for about 2 years after you stop driving for them, so the DSP can meet its Right to Work record-keeping duty, then it is deleted. You can ask for it to be deleted sooner.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted at any time. Contact the DSP you applied to, who can action this directly. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
